Studies Prove This Herb Could Kill Cancer

Is oregano more than just an herb? Studies show it could cure cancer!

There has been a rising interest in the identification of natural plant foods that can help develop effective agents against cancer. The anti-tumor effects of oregano in the vivo and in vitro breast cancer model were evaluated.

Lyophilized oregano was administered at two concentrations of 0.3 and 3% through diet. The experiment was terminated 14 weeks after carcinogen administration. Low doses of oregano suppressed tumor frequency by 55.5%, tumor incidence by 44%, and tumor volume by 44.5%. High-dose oregano treatment lengthened tumor latency by 12.5 days. The study shows that oregano decreased survival and proliferation of MCF-7 cells.

The results demonstrate that oregano has a distinct tumor-suppressive effect on breast cancer and tumors.

This is a huge step towards a potential breakthrough in what natural plant foods can do in curing cancer.
